Our Story
equipABLE began as a student-led initiative rooted in both lived experience and a desire for practical inclusion.
As a Human Resource Management student at the Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS) and a caregiver to both parents, I saw firsthand how systems often overlook the needs of persons with disabilities (PWDs) and neurodivergent individuals. That sparked a question: What would it take to design truly inclusive workplaces and learning environments?
Through critical interviews and behavior-based methods like BARS, equipABLE works with individuals, caregivers, and employers to co-create HR tools and frameworks grounded in real stories. Our mission is simple, to equip people and organisations to practice inclusion meaningfully, not just conceptually.
We believe that change begins with empathy, and grows when we build it together.
